To activate CIBC credit card online, do as follows:

Enter the address for the CIBC website into your browser. The CIBC website will then load (on the browser). You can find the said address, for the CIBC website, in the ‘links’ section at the bottom end of this article. So you just enter that address into your browser’s address bar, and the CIBC website loads.
Once you are on the CIBC website’s homepage, check at the top and you will notice a menu with items like ‘Bank Accounts’, ‘Credit Cards’, ‘Mortgages’, ‘Lending’, ‘Investments’… and so on. From that menu, click on the ‘credit cards’ link.
On the CIBC credit cards page that you are taken to, click on the ‘Sign On’ link, that you will find at the top right hand corner. It is adjacent to the ‘Help’ link. So click on that ‘Sign On’ link. Now if you have already registered for CIBC online banking, sign in by entering your card number and password into the respective spaces. To sign in to your CIBC credit card account online, follow these steps:

Go to the CIBC website, by entering its address into your browser. You can find that address at the bottom end of this article, within the ‘links’ section. You just have to copy or type it into your browser, so as to be transferred to the CIBC website.
When you get to the CIBC website homepage, click on the ‘Credit Cards’ link from the main menu at the top. That is the menu with items like ‘Bank Accounts’, ‘Credit Cards’, ‘Mortgages’, ‘Lending’… and so on. So one of the items in that menu is ‘credit cards’. Click on it.
On the page that you are taken to (after clicking on the ‘credit cards’ link) check at the top right hand corner, and you will notice a ‘Sign On’ link [it is right next to the ‘Help’ link]. Click on that ‘Sign On’ link.
The moment you click on the ‘Sign On’ link, a login box will appear instantly: with spaces for entry of the card number and password. Enter your card number into the space meant for it, and your password into the other space.
After entering the CIBC credit card number and password into the respective spaces, click on the red-colored ‘sign on’ button at the bottom end of the login box. You will then be able to access your CIBC credit card account immediately.
